Went to Chattanooga yesterday (Jan 11) to see our new great-grandbaby. Jerry's granddaughter Jenalee gave birth to KyLee Marie on January 9. They were still in the hospital when we got there because KyLee was jaudiced and they had her in the incubator. The incubator was in Jenalee's room so that she could feed and change her so we got to touch her. Newborn skin is sooooooo soft. Dig those crazy shades!Friday, February 6, 2009

Book Two, Chapter Six
What fun! We have seen so little snow in the last few years that 3 inches is enough to make us giddy. Jack had so much fun. He just loves to run flat-out across the yard. Snow on
the ground is the only thing that will entice us to let him off the leash because he never leaves the yard except when the neighbor boys are outside playing and they always catch him for us. Having a bag of treats in your pocket also helps. We just came from the Lady Vols b'ball game: TN 73-GA 43. The girls looked a little off their game at the beginning, but they soon got into a rhythm. Oh yeah, and it was Coach Pat Summit's 1,000th win! Congratulations coach! Mayor Haslam announced that she is going to get the first star on Knoxville's new 'Riverwalk'.
